The Basingstoke Country Hotel is a 121 bedroom-hotel that has ten conference suites in total, ranging in size from smaller rooms seating up to 30 guests, ideal for meetings, to larger suites seating up to 240 people.

The Hotel offers a Spindles Health and Leisure Club that provides beauty treatments and pamper packages as well as Gym Memberships and access to the swimming pool. Due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit a Full Time Leisure Club Manager who will retain and increase club membership through the operation of a profitable, clean and safe facility, as well as be involved in every aspect of managing the club with a hands-on attitude.

As the Leisure Club Manager, you will be required to;

• Conduct a complete operational audit and walk through of the facility at least once a day and be completely up to date with all operational issues.
• Schedule daily and weekly meetings of all levels of club staff, to ensure key activities in attached schedule are carried out effectively.
• Regularly review all club level management reports to effectively monitor club performance.

The successful candidate will have a proven history of managing a Leisure or fitness facility. You will need to hold a valid Level 2 Fitness Qualification (or equivalent) and Level 2 Pool Responder Cetificate. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organisational skills and you will execute the highest standards of customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
