Our Physiotherapy team in Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist. Start and continue your professional journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.

The Role

You will see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, occupational and post operative cases, playing a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to.

You work will be split within three fields: outpatient physiotherapy clinic at Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital, inpatient ward physiotherapy within Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital and site based telephone triage work. You will work with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS, consultants, corporate clients and private medical insurers in order to optimise the health and recovery of our patients.

The hospital is brilliantly placed to support and mentor the successful candidate for this role, alongside our academy training programmes. As a Physiotherapist you will;

- Deliver high quality, effective clinical care.

- You be flexible in your working environments and times, providing some early start and evening clinics.


The role would suit individuals with a desire of making a positive impact across a large workforce, while looking to create & build client relationships within a corporate setting.

The Person

To succeed as a Physiotherapist you will;

- Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent.

- You'll be registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

- You will have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience with evidence of previous musculoskeletal and orthopaedic working.
- Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
- Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent manual therapy skills.
- Be a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills
- Have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
