The successful Events Manager will be working at multiple venues within central London, specifically our Peyton and Byrne venues.

 

Events Manager Job Introduction:

We have a fantastic opportunity that has come available to join our team at The Peyton Events as an Events Manager. The role will involve working with work with the Head of Events and back of house team to develop and maintain all aspects of the Peyton Events offer at multiple venues within Central London, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry and lead with innovation and brand relevance.

For over 40 years we have been providing bespoke catering and hospitality services for sports stadia, racecourses, visitor, attractions, historic venues, major events and premium airline lounges. Recognised across the globe for hospitality, we help create exceptional moments at extraordinary events such as Royal Ascot, Tour de France and RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

 

Events Manager Main Responsibilities include:

Working with the wider events and catering team you will develop and maintain all aspects of the Peyton Events offer to customers, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry and lead with innovation and brand relevance. Through client and supplier engagement this role is responsible for the professional, creative and innovative delivery of events. The role requires a strong organiser who can adapt to a wide range of fast paced catering environments.

 

The Events Manager role will also include the following:

  • Manage creative process, developing events, setting scope of work and priorities, providing feedback on creative, securing approvals, and overseeing final event delivery
  • Ensuring all client needs are met throughout the planning process, adapting to budgets without compromising event style or operational delivery
  • Produce accurate, detailed event packs in a timely fashion for clients, operation teams and kitchen brigades
  • Ensure ongoing communication with Third Party suppliers and revising quotes as appropriate
  • Engage in upselling opportunities wherever possible for both food & beverage and equipment
  • Ensuring that all events are planned accurately, logistics are appropriate to ensure that events are delivered accurately as per each bespoke specification.

 

The Ideal Events Manager:

  • Experience of managing events
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and can perform well under pressure.
  • Demonstrative customer focus and service skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work load and manage time.
  • A calm and accepting view to change and the ability to react to this quickly and efficiently
  • Computer literacy in work processing, spread sheets and database programmers and show willingness to learn new systems
  • Flexibility to work at events

 

Events Manager Package Description:
