Hotel Maintenance Manager - Mercure Bradford Bankfield

As hands-on Maintenance Manager you will ensure all works carried out in the Hotel by staff or sub-contractors is compliant with Health & Safety regulations, all risk assessments have been carried out and updated for all operations, carry out (or when necessary organise) repair works for any damages and maintain all types of equipment and the overall property.

As Maintenance Manager, you would be expected to be called out in an emergency and carry out all management duties including performance reviews, organising the staff rota ensuring there is adequate cover of the department at all times and managing/controlling payroll, suppliers and repair costs.

The successful Maintenance Manager will be proactive, computer literate, have good verbal and written communication with the ability to work as part of a Hotel team.

Previous experience within a similar hands-on job role is essential such as: Caretaker Manager, Property Maintenance Manager, Trades person, Tradesman, Handy person, Handyman, Plumber, Electrician, Grounds Manager, Painter, Decorator, Maintenance Manager.
