Customer Host - European Winter Resorts

An opportunity like no other; to live, work and play in the mountains this winter! We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and passionate staff to join the team.

As a Customer Host you will work mainly on the hotel reception desk, you are the first point of contact for guests in the hotel and will deal with a range of queries and requests. You will assist with general duties around the hotel as well as hosting our weekly airport transfers. As part of the customer services team you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• To support the Head of Customer Services as part of the customer services team.  
• To perform general reception duties, dealing with guest administration and providing local and hotel information and a range of services to guests.
• Maintain regular and positive contact with guests throughout their stay                                                   
• To assist with the cleaning of the hotel's public areas throughout the day                                                                  
• Assist guests in the event of illness/accident or any health and safety related matters
• To prepare and maintain notice boards and other guest service literature
• To participate in and conduct guest transfers to and from the airport as required
• To build and maintain positive relationships with local suppliers
• To assist with the organisation of lift passes, ski hire and ski school bookings
• To organise and present evening entertainments (in support of bar operation)
• Provide translation services where required
• Support the general hotel operation, assisting with general duties across departments
• To assist with hotel administration tasks as required

Requirements

• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Ability to carry out tasks efficiently
• Fluent in French or German desired but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in a customer racing role
• UK/EU Passport holder
• UK National Insurance Number
• UK bank account
