Duty Manager – Stamford Leisure Centre 

39 hours per week

£24,000 per year OTE

About your role

We need to recruit a new Swim School and Fitness Sales Manager who is enthusiastic, personable and effective in presenting the memberships and services available at our centre throughout Swim School and Fitness. As well as providing excellent customer service to all visitors, you’ll also be generating new interest in our Centre. From keeping records updated to tele-activity, social media work, supporting reception and conducting centre tours, you’ll deliver excellent sales service.

You will be an ambassador for our Centre, promoting us at local events, within local businesses, outlets and using every opportunity available. Previous experience in a sales or a service role would be advantageous and we offer a comprehensive in-house sales training.

The successful candidate will also be expected to manage the Swim School programme through from the organisation of teachers and lessons to admin and the quality control of lessons delivered.

Applicants will be expected to:

• Deliver Membership Targets
• Answering telephones and responding to customer queries
• Manage bookings for activities around the centre.
• Engage with customers on Facebook and other social media platforms
• Gather and report on Customer feedback
• Conduct ‘Outreach’ activities to engage with local community
• Manage the full Swim School process

Applicants must be self-motivated and target-driven with a "can-do" attitude. You’ll possess great communication skills, IT skills, be organised and have a passion for sales.

Evenings and weekend work will be consisted in this position.
