Front of House Team Member - City Athletic, Victoria SW1

£10.00 per hour | Full-time/Part-time Available.

City Athletic is a premium, performance driven health club with sites in both Bank (EC2) and Victoria (SW1). We have a tightly capped membership, top of the range facilities and a focus on service and the member experience. Our expectations are of the highest level and we expect these to be matched by our Team.

The Role

The FOH Team are our members first point of contact and set the tone for the member experience at City Athletic: we expect energy, enthusiasm and a dedication to customer service. We are looking for a proactive person who will go above and beyond to look after the best interests of club and it's staff, members and guests.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent interaction and communication skills, be able to manage difficult conversations, and be responsible for the overall member experience, ensuring that all visitors to the club are welcomed and have a great visit every time. 

The club and reception space must be kept clean and maintained to a high level for operations to deliver a premium service and facilities to all our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meeting and greeting all members and guests to the club and creating a welcoming and friendly environment
• Know The Club: equipment, timetable, instructors, pricing etc.
• Create a rapport with our members
• Respond to enquiries via email, phone and in person in a timely manner
• Sales Outreach e.g. leafletting and attending events
• Reporting maintenance requirements if you are unable to fix an issue
• Opening and Closing the club

Essential Requirements

• 5-Star customer service skills/experience
• Good Communicator
• Friendly disposition
• Interest in health and fitness
• Good Organisational skills
• Available for shift work, including early shifts (06:00), late shifts (22:00) & weekends
