Membership Executive - The Lanesborough Club & Spa - London

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Membership Executive to join our fantastic team at London’s finest Luxury Health Club. The Lanesborough Club & Spa is an extension of the hotel’s graceful splendour. Designed by London-based interior practice, 1508, it unfolds in a luxurious palette of glossy wood, scintillating marble and sumptuous silk wallpaper, flourished with gleaming gold fixtures and baroque touches. Sleek interiors reflect the hotel’s resplendent décor, while seamlessly incorporating state-of-the-art facilities. The generous 18,500 sq ft space is home to an expansive gym, hydrotherapy pool, sauna and suite of thermal treatment rooms, exclusively available to members and hotel guests only. The Lanesborough Club & Spa has collaborated with London’s resident experts on a comprehensive menu of fitness and wellbeing treatments including revered facialist Anastasia Achilleos, beauty brands ila and La Prairie.

The role Membership Executive is to assist with increasing membership whilst driving retention by striving to deliver world class service by personally assisting the needs of every member. The role will include planning and preparation of high end member events. The Club spans over 18,500 sq. foot and includes the latest fitness equipment, treatment rooms and restaurant. The Membership Executive shall show a thorough understanding of the product, including all aspects of membership, club offerings and treatments available and will work closely with the Sales & Marketing team of The Lanesborough and Membership Manager of the Club & Spa to identify business development opportunities and maximise revenue from membership sales.  The successful candidate will build upon existing guest relations as well as establish a strong, exclusive membership base

As Membership Executive you will have a real pride and passion for what you do, with the ability to build rapport and long-term relationships with members and guests.

The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes

  • Proven track record of similar experience in a similar position within a luxury/club environment. In either Sales, Account Management or high end customer service roles.
  • Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred
  • You will be required to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Immaculate grooming standards
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Opera and Delphi is preferred
  • Reasonable hours as required to meet the business demands, weekend and evening work may be required
