We have an exciting vacancy at tedHQ, for someone experienced in the health and fitness sector to become our new Head of Active.

Reporting to our Leadership Team, our Head of Active will be accountable for the department's entire operation, and responsible for the successful management of a growing portfolio of exciting clients.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the driving force behind the department, fitting in with our business ethos of being at the forefront of innovation and implementation. You will manage and maintain current clients, and establish new partnerships, producing concepts and ideas, and running projects from initial brief through to delivery and analysis.

You will manage the active team and monitor the on-going workloads within the department, ensuring the team are fully supported at all times through training and mentoring.

You will also be responsible for the department budgets, forecasts, and all quotations and costs issued out to the client base and customer, and work with the Senior Leadership team to ensure business goals, commercial targets and aspirations are achieved.

Skills and Experience

Experience of the health and fitness sector is essential, as is experience of managing departmental budgets, multi-site operations and various projects.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills, be a good verbal and written communicator, and possess stand-out budget management skills.

Technical qualifications that can be applied to the role are also important, on top of the ability to demonstrate previous client and team management.

This is a permanent, full-time position, located at tedHQ in Milton Keynes, UK, but overseas travel will be required.
