We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping/Domestic Services Team Leader to manage the team responsible for the cleanliness of our hospital whilst working on the rota as part of the team.

Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital offers comprehensive private hospital services in a comfortable and relaxed environment to patients from Cambridgeshire and East Anglia. The Hospital is going through a £10 million refit which will modernise our 5 Theatres and 44 bedded ward. Also included in the upgrade will be the Imaging and short stay departments, increasing the number of pods to 19. The Endoscopy suite will also be JAG compliant level and there will also be an extended 2 bed recovery unit.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing the team responsible for the cleanliness of the hospital on a daily basis. You will manage the rota, training, recruitment & retention and appraisals. You will also be required to conduct audits on a regular basis. You will work as part of the team on the rota covering 6am – 8pm, 7 days per week.  

Who we're looking for

• You will need to have experience in a management or team leader capacity within housekeeping
• Ideally you will have worked in a hospital but this is not essential
• The flexibility to work the required shift patterns on the rota and take a hands on approach to the role
• Someone who takes pride in their work and the environment they work in
