Work Pattern

In general, this role will work Monday to Friday, but we do expect flexibility to meet business demands and to support our wider teams. We fully understand the value of our people working flexibly, from a personal perspective as well as business perspective, and encourage our people to do so!

Job Description
  • Design and facilitate core induction for Greggs House managers of people
  • Support line managers with an effective induction (12 weeks) for all new colleagues at Greggs House our Head Office
  • Design and facilitate all core programmes for Greggs House managers of people such as "Brilliant Line Manager" and "Brilliant Team Leader".
  • Develop new modules to be added to the portfolio each year
  • Evolve a skills matrix for team leaders showing progression in role and impact of programme attendance
  • Produce a wide range of blended learning solutions to complement all workshops with prior and post activities
  • Regularly validate and evaluate all core programmes learning and development content
  • Lead on the design of all key L&D initiatives impacting all of Greggs House
  • Lead the design of Learning at Work Week and similar, for Greggs House
  • Design and facilitate teambuilding solutions for Greggs House teams
  • Work closely with People Manager Central and People Advisors to establish L&D needs for Greggs House
  • Design storyboards for digital learning materials for all aspects of Core Programmes and Greggs House initiatives, working alongside the L&D Manager Digital Learning
  • Design and facilitate learning and development materials for the national learning portfolio including ongoing Career development programmes, short sessions and self-directed materials.
Skills
  • A passion to improve the knowledge, skills and behaviours of managers of people
  • An ability to transform compliance matters and processes into exciting learning solutions
  • Excellent design skills to create inspiring yet practical learning solutions
  • Exceptional facilitation skills to excite and enthuse the learners
  • Very strong written skills to produce session plans, storyboards and learning support materials
  • Experience of both face to face and digital learning delivery
  • Most importantly you will be an excellent communicator with fantastic relationship building and influencing skills
