Our Story

The Westbury Mayfair, A Luxury Collection Hotel was founded in 1927 and is situated in the heart of Mayfair, features 225 guest rooms and suites, all elegantly furnished and newly redesigned by Alex Kravetz Designs. Guests will enjoy a unique culinary experience at Alyn Williams at The Westbury, the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant. Under the same roof is the multi-award-winning Polo Bar. The hotel also features two meeting rooms and a fitness centre.

Our ideal Sommelier

We are currently looking for a Sommelier with an interest in wine and the commitment and ability to add value to our customers’ experience as well as desire to build a career in this area.

 Requirements & Responsibilities of a Sommelier

  • You will need excellent communication skills, personality and attention to detail to provide outstanding service within a fine dining environment.
  • You will have worked in a similar environment, ideally in a 5 star environment selecting and serving a full range of wines to discerning guests. 
  • You will be able to demonstrate a level of spoken English and inter-personal skills to meet the expectations of our clients.
