The Role

To develop and lead the Women’s Health Physiotherapy service across our 9 clinics (plus rapid expansion to 20 sites over the next 4 years). Responsibilities include delivering client sessions of the highest quality, training and developing the existing team and recruiting for expansion as the service grows. Finally, building and maintaining external contacts to drive quality, efficiency and turnover for the Women’s Health Physiotherapy service.

We currently boast 9 boutique clinics across London with rapid expansion to 20 sites over the next 4 years.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop our Woman’s health offering both within the Physio department and the wider business
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the condition of muscles, nerves or joints in need of treatment
  • Plan and implement therapy to improve condition and/or reduce pain and develop appropriate care plans, delivering specialist sessions to our wonderful client base
  • Offer specialist advice and education on how to avoid injury and promote the client’s future health and well being
  • Provide training for new starters and generally encouraging the development of the Women’s Health team
  • Manage and oversee that sessions are delivered from a quality and outcome perspective
  • Performance reporting/accountability to Physio Director
  • Report back, when required, to surgeons and doctors on progress and liaise with medical professionals with the ongoing treatment
  • Responsible for the organisation, prioritisation and planning of own caseload
  • To work effectively within our multidisciplinary team of instructors, personal Trainers, physios and sports massage therapists.
  • Manage and lead CPD events
  • Build connections externally with consultants to support business development
  • Lead recruitment to grow the team and expand the Women’s Health Physiotherapy offering


To be considered for the position you will need the following:

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified with a Physiotherapy degree
  • Have an equivalent band 6/7 level Women’s Health Physiotherapist experience
  • HPC and CSP registered
  • DBS certificate issued within the last 3 years
  • Trained in Dynamic Ultrasound


Experience:

  • 5 years' Post Graduate physiotherapist experience and 2 years focusing on Women’s Health Physiotherapy
  • Trained in the assessment and treatment of out-patient Obstetric MSK and Continence, Urogynae, Pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction patients
  • Experienced in Vaginal and Ano-rectal examinations

Preferred, but not essential:

  • A postgraduate qualification in Women’s Health Physiotherapy
  • Pilates/Rehab Experience
  • Experience in Men’s Health Physiotherapy
  • London based experience would be a plus
