Head Kitchen Steward - Luton

The salary for this role is £19,059 plus service charge (approx. £1200* per annum, *dependent on sales) and annual bonus

The Head Kitchen Steward Role:

Reporting to the Executive Chef, You should be reliable and hardworking with the ability to provide exceptional service and deliver consistently high standards. Previous management of a team and kitchen experience is essential for this role

The Head Kitchen Steward will:

• Create the team's rotas and schedules on a timely basis.
• Ensure that all Kitchen Porters are carrying out their duties to the required food hygiene standard
• Maintain the physical product and to advise Maintenance of any faults.
• Engage in the transport of equipment around the estate and maintain the agreed stocks of cutlery and crockery in each kitchen
• Ensure the kitchen van is kept clean at all times and report any faults to the Executive Chef
• Control cleaning products and ensure that they are taken to relevant department and logged accordingly
• Adhere to health, safety and food standards
• Attend all training set by the department and the company
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be keen and enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude
