BSTFitness Newbury is opening a brand new wellbeing suite that will provide a fantastic opportunity for people currently not exercising to take part in regular physical activity in a welcoming, friendly, safe and fun environment.  The suite, comprising of a range of power-assisted equipment as part of a circuit-based workout, will accommodate a wide range of customers including those with long-term health conditions and rehab and pre-hab clients.

Key to the success of the suite – called “Move” – will be our Move Supervisors.  You will need to be outgoing, friendly and genuinely care for the needs of your Move members.  The ability to communicate effectively and interact with a wide range of people, particularly those aged 55+, will be essential.  For many of our Move members, the opportunity to make new friends will be just as beneficial as the activity itself.

You do not need to be a qualified fitness professional – it’s your personality that really counts – as all training will be provided for you.  Of course, an interest in health, fitness, wellbeing and the benefits of physical activity is essential.

We will be appointing three Move Supervisors working an average of  22.5 hours each week on a three-week rota.  Each Move Supervisor will work one weekend in three and have a range of shifts covering the following hours: Monday-Friday, 0800-1400hrs, and 1400-1900hrs and Saturday-Sunday, 0900-1500hrs.

As a Move Supervisor, you will be based in the MOVE suite, conducting inductions on the equipment and developing programmes to help improve our customer’s health helping them to lead healthier and happier lives.  You will also help to organise and attend events to actively promote the Move suite.
