Payroll Advisor - Nuneaton
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Advisor to join a large, highly successful business based in Nuneaton. Working within a small payroll team, your main priority is to ensure the employees are paid accurately and on time and maintain good working relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
- Processing hours information based on stores clocked hours on a weekly basis
- Processing new starters, leavers and employment changes receive through the intranet system
- Calculating any back pay due to an employee
- Absence Recording from timesheet data
- Calculating and processing SSP/SMP/OSPP/Shared Parental Pay
- Organising BACS Payments
- Processing P45`s and Starter Checklists
- 3rd party deductions - CSA / Attachment of Earnings, etc
- Dealing with employee and government agency queries
- Processing payroll using the Earnie IQ System
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
The Person
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel
- Must have good organisational skills, and be able to work under pressure
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required in this role
- Previous experience within a Payroll function
- Excellent telephone manner
- Must have a positive can do attitude
