FP&A Manager, Tim Hortons UK

Tim Hortons is an iconic 50 year-old brand in Canada, Tim Hortons is off to a great start as we take on the competitive UK market place. After unprecedented media interest in the national launch in Spring 2017 and a fanatical social media following from Tim’s fans across the UK, it is no surprise the first store is a roaring success and we’re now at 22 sites with 3 more opening in 2019.

As we look ahead to a busy expansion plan across the country in the coming years we are looking for enthusiastic, open-minded and driven people to join us on the journey. 

We’re recruiting within our Head Office team for an FP&A Manager. The role sits at the centre of the business with the primary aim of ensuring that we are on a sound financial footing or a clear plan of action to achieve this.  Focused on commercial & operational finance and supply chain for the Tim Hortons UK business with a team of 3 direct reports.   

Objectives

  • Accurate strategic insight and financial planning
  • Manage team to enhance reporting and scheduling across the business
  • Manage inventory to ensure supply, limit storage costs and expiration
  • Monitor company performance and ensure corrective action can be taken in a timely fashion
  • Provide insightful analysis to strategically guide the business

 

Job Responsibilities

  • P&L reporting
  • Strategic insight and financial planning
    • Short-term budget
    • 10-year business plan
    • Pricing strategy analysis
  • Sales and trend analysis
  • Sales Forecasting
  • Supply/Inventory chain management:
    • Monitor stock usage vs forecast and potential shortfalls
    • Demand planning across the supply chain
  • Costing
  • Investment Analysis
  • Manage a team of 3 operational analysts advise, support and develop reporting and scheduling across the business
  • Key point of contact across the business regarding sales, inventory and systems

 

Our ideal applicant will be from a small to medium sized company and used to working closely with the senior management team and used to last minute requests and able to manage their workload accordingly.

As a small company we all have varied roles and we grow and develop, one day you’ll be testing new donuts as part of the food team and the next you’re discussing ongoing costs with our logistics company.
