In your role as a Restaurant Manager, you will be leading, motivating and engaging our Island Grill Restaurant team to be the best they can be, whilst ensuring we consistently deliver an exceptional hospitality experience. Our vision of ‘we always care’ underpins all of our colleague and guest interactions and as a department head, you will naturally demonstrate this in your role model behaviours and your ability to ‘walk the talk’.
Within our Island Grill Restaurant you will be focusing on developing a team which serves modern, locally-sourced British dishes with a focus on sustainability. Island Grill Restaurant serves fresh, local ingredients that change with the seasons and is a restaurant that directly faces iconic Hyde Park.
Reporting to the Director of F & B, your relationships with peers such as the Executive Head Chef, Outlet Head Chef and other F & B Outlet Managers are key to your success and it’s essential to be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business and those around you.
Relying on your past experience in a similar role within a 4-5* high volume hotel, you will be focused on managing day-to-day operations of the outlet, maintaining the highest standards of service and continuously motivating and training your team. Being solution focused and commercially sound would ensure your success within the position, in addition to this your role will also include assisting in managing budgets and inventory as well as attending various P&L meetings.
