 Thorpe Park Resort is looking for a talented, bright and motivated individual to join our Admissions team as a Permanent Team Leader. In this role you and your counterpart will oversee the daily operation of all Admissions areas, the Car Park as well as the Fastrack Department and our VIP Experiences. You will be responsible for setting the standard for the highest possible level of guest experience and health & safety compliance; ensuring the rest of the team is achieving these standards set.

 Thanks to the diverse and unique nature of Thorpe Park Resort, no two days are ever the same! One day you may be assisting a seasonal team member turnaround a customer’s day; the next you could be acting as a role model for the delivery of our VIP experiences by training new seasonal hosts how to achieve the standards expected.  Not only do we invest time developing our seasonal employees, there will also be plenty of opportunity for you to learn new skills; for example you could get involved in recruiting, or you could champion our STAR recognition scheme or become the Department’s Your Voice Counts Representative; all fantastic ways to build your professional image and help you develop within a Global company.

What is it we’re looking for in a successful candidate?

  • Ability to self-manage and use initiative to prioritise tasks, whilst remaining calm under pressure
  • Strong communicator who can influence others and build strong working relationships
  • Ability to drive initiatives and motivate and coach team members to achieve great results
  • Commercial acumen
  • Proficient IT skills, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Ability to learn systems
