Salary Band 1 £16,881 per annum

10 hours per week

We are a not-for-profit social enterprise, working for the whole community, providing quality facilities and opportunities to lead a healthier, active lifestyle. We are looking to recruit an Exercise Referral coach to inform, encourage, support and signpost clients to the most appropriate form of physical activity. You will be responsible for reviewing personal activity programmes, offering initial consultations, performing progress reviews and conducting assessments with clients.

You will hold a Level 3 Exercise Referral Qualification (Or Level 3 Fitness qualification) and have experience and knowledge of designing personal programmes, fitness testing and working with clients with health conditions. You will have the ability to build rapport and develop effective working relationships and have the ability to engage and motivate others to achieve goals. Delivering 121 and group sessions you will be able to demonstrate a passion for health improvement and supporting individuals to achieve a healthier lifestyle.

The role will require travelling to various Abbeycroft leisure sites where public transport may not be accessible. Any Mileage and travel time costs will be paid. The role may involve work some evenings and weekends as required.
