Job Details

Better Extreme is a brand new venture by GLL. We're looking for a number of Assistants / Stewards to help run one of the most exciting new trampoline facilities in Carterton Leisure Centre in Carterton, West Oxfordshire. Starting in November in time for our big launch, we need an energetic team of people to help us lead the way in extreme. The trampoline park has a massive 2,250m2 of space and 100 trampolines. This is no ordinary trampoline park as this unique facility will have probably more features than any other park around. There will be a slacklining area, dodge ball and extreme dodgeball courts, a performance area with specialist trampoline equipment and padded walls, foam pits and a battle beam.

Alert and safety-conscious, you'll be confident working with members of the public, ensuring they have a great time whatever their activity, age and ability. Working closely with the Extreme Sports Supervisors and Duty Managers, you'll ensure that the facility runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. You'll be working with a team of like-minded people and encouraged to develop your ideas to help more people become active in non-traditional sports.

You'll be motivated and ambitious - always looking for the next challenge. You'll ideally have some customer-facing experience, but being an excellent communicator and driven in your work will also stand you in good stead as will being able to adhere to stringent health and safety requirements. Demonstrating your passion for keeping active, you'll show a commitment to learn and develop within the team and in return, we'll help you to develop your career with us.

In return, we offer a range of benefits that you'd expect from the UK's largest leisure provider:

  • Pension schemes
  • Discounted membership at our leisure centres
  • Career pathways
  • Ongoing training and development to help you to be the best

If you want the chance to develop a career doing something you love, apply now.

The welfare and safety of the children in our care is of the utmost importance to us at GLL. We follow safer recruitment procedures to ensure that our staff are checked and appropriate to work with children and young people. Therefore we'll require you to complete an enhance DBS check before you will be allowed to start work.

All pay rates are subject to skills, experience, qualifications and location.
