Active Nation are on the hunt for new Duty Manager to join our team at The Quays Swimming & Diving Complex in Southampton.

Do you have experience of managing a customer-driven environment?

Can you manage, inspire, encourage and motivate your team AND our customers to be more active?

We’re looking for passionate, driven individuals who can enthuse and engage with our supporters (customers) creating a positive experience of our venue. If you are confident, self-motivated, enjoy managing a BRILLiANT team of campaigners (staff) and are a great conversationalist then we’d love to hear from you!

You will report to the Venue Manager and you will be responsible for:

  • Daily management of the operations of the venue
  • Managing safety and service on a duty rota basis
  • Conducting operational duties/inspections
  • Ensuring correct staffing levels at all times
  • Opening and Closing of the Centre
  • A Financial Performance of a specific area of the business

We need you to work flexibly and across all opening hours, from early morning to late in the evening (on a rotational basis). The prestigious Quays Swimming and Diving Complex is one of Southampton Contract Indoor Venues and includes 25m pool, Diving Pool, Leisure Pool, Gym, Studios.
