Position: Leisure Assistant

Centre: Holbrook Sports Centre, Ipswich Rd, Holbrook, Ipswich, IP9 2QX

Salary: £8.21 an hour.

Hours of Work: Part time (11.5 hours per week average) including evenings and weekends

Shifts: Wednesdays 18:00-21:45, Saturdays 09:00-13:00, Fridays 18:00-21:45

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Holbrook Team. To deliver a friendly, professional and efficient customer service creating a welcoming atmosphere for each of our customers in line with the Trust Quality Management System, with the key aim of retaining existing and attracting new customers.

Role of person;

• To collect and record fees and bookings of facilities and activities
• To drive sales of membership and secondary spend
• To be a point of authority for all member enquiries
• Answer customer queries face to face and by telephone
• Distribute incoming and send outgoing post
• Carry out general administrative duties such as filling, scanning etc.
• Setting up and packing away equipment in accordance with our safe systems of work
• Ensuring the centre is clean, tidy and presentable at all times

• Know how to use a computer and programmes.
• Level 2 gym instructor
