Weekend Delivery Driver - Yum Bun - Leyton E10

Part time | 10-12hrs per week | £9.50 per hour | Immediate Start

About us:

Yum Bun are an award winning independent food business. We serve beautiful steamed buns, dumplings and ice cream buns at our outlets across South and East London. Yum Bun started as a street food stall in 2010 and now have six permanent outlets.

The role:

We are looking for a weekend driver to join our friendly team at our central kitchen in Leyton, E10. The hours will be roughly 5.30am to 12pm Saturdays and Sundays, with extra hours available if desired.  We supply the vehicle.

Main tasks include;

• Printing and carefully referring to the daily order forms submitted by our various sites.
• Organising and packing deliveries into the van.
• Ensuring quality of produce and stock rotation.
• Keeping all food at a safe temperature.
• Unloading at our various sites (nb. at some sites you will be required to put the delivery into fridges/freezers, ensuring stock rotation etc.).
• Communicating with the site managers and central kitchen.
• Keeping our central kitchen deliveries area clean and tidy at all times.

Who we are looking for:

• A calm headed, highly organised and positive person.
• Ideally local to E10 so as to meet the early start times.
• Must be punctual.
• Must hold a clean UK driving licence and be 26+ years old.
• This is not a standard delivery job as it requires careful packing for various sites.
• You must have attention to detail - if you don’t enjoy keeping things organised and tidy this job won’t be for you!
• Must be comfortable driving a reasonably large van in central London.
• Some experience in hospitality desirable.
