Pastry Chef -  Monday to Friday - Moreton-In-Marsh

Our Daylesford family is growing, and we are looking for an engaging and passionate Pastry Chef to join us at our pastry production kitchen.

Full Time contract, based on 40 hours per week, £9.50 per hour. Shifts Monday to Friday, plus 1 Sunday a month, 6am to 2:30pm

About you

As a Pastry Chef at Daylesford you will be working towards producing the highest-quality food in our production kitchen at our organic farm in rural Gloucestershire. You will be working amongst a team who consistently thrive through delivering the best performance in order to ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely and appropriately. You'll be producing a variety of pastry goods for our Farmshops and wholesale customers. The role will also include assisting with the production of our jams, chutneys and marmalades as we go through the year

The ideal candidate will be a strong team-player with a passion for food, cooking, and great quality organic produce. You will be working within a fast-paced, varied and extremely rewarding environment. Pastry experience is essential. Production experience would be an advantage. This role offers a great work life balance with shifts Monday to Friday and 1 Sunday per month. Uniform and Safety Shoes are provided

Main responsibilities

  • Execute all products as per company specifications and quality standards
  • Ensure that all products have fully recorded traceability throughout the entire production process
  • Contribute to the production of all jams, chutneys and marmalades as per company specifications
  • Working safely and efficiently to ensure that all daily orders are completed at a fulfilment rate of 98% or above
  • To highlight Health and Safety matters to your line manager
  • Comply with the production unit’s internal audit requirements
  • To adhere to the standards set out by the Soil Association and SALSA Auditors
