We're looking for a Baby Room Leader (Senior Nursery Practitioner Level 3) for the Better Community Nursery based at Burnt Oak Leisure Centre in Barnet, North West London. Our new Nursery provides a unique setting for childcare combining the leisure facilities with the expertise of highly qualified and trained childcare staff.

As the Baby Room Leader, you'll provide and oversee care for all the children in the Baby Room and ensure your team of nursery nurses are supported to provide a high-quality service where children can play, learn, socialise and develop in a friendly and welcoming environment. You'll support the Nursery Manager in maintaining good links with the parents and wider community and forge relationships with parents and families to help support their children's learning and progress.

It goes without saying that you're passionate about working with babies and children but you'll also need to be professionally qualified with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, understanding of Ofsted regulations and an excellent working knowledge of the EYFS framework and principles. Responsible and well-organised, you'll provide an environment where health and safety is of paramount importance be that from the physical environment and room set up to dietary requirements and allergies. A natural leader, you'll be a good role model to your team, providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care to the children under your supervision.
