Junior Developer
Are you a Junior Developer or recent IT Graduate with a good understanding of JavaScript? If so, then we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll report to the Mobile Development Delivery Manager and you’ll be accountable for developing high quality mobile applications that will help the company achieve its strategic goals.
These applications will be used by up to 200,000 colleagues and impact our 20 million+ regular customers. You will work in a team that will be made up of internal colleagues and external resources, both on-shore and in our off-shore partner development centres in Bangalore and Kolkata.
Training and development is extremely important to us and every Friday afternoon is solely dedicated to your development. You’ll have full access to Udemy (online training) as well as specific external training.
You’ll also have the opportunity to really drive your career forward, as the team has doubled every year and this is set to continue for the foreseeable future. We have an excellent track record of developing our Junior Developers to the next level.
What you’ll need:
You’ll have some experience of programming, and a good understanding of SOME (we will provide full training) of the following technical stack: Angular JS, Cordova, Ionic, React Native etc.
What you’ll doYou’ll review solution documentation to gain a full understanding of application development requirementsYou’ll produce technical documentation that accurately and thoroughly depicts the software design and code baseYou’ll follow project timelines and will plan tasks accordinglyYou’ll develop high quality software code in accordance with established standards and development guidelines.You’ll unit test application code and resolve defects where applicableYou’ll work with the QA team to assist with building functional and performance test plansYou’ll resolve defects found in QA in a timely mannerYou’ll perform code reviews for other Application Developers and provide feedback where necessaryYou’ll develop yourself, ensuring that development skills remain current and relevantBenefits
