Chef - R&S Chalet Collection - Winter Season - Morzine, France

Salary bracket: €540 per week - we also include ski hire, food, travel to and from the UK, mountain insurance, company phone and use of vehicle in resort.

R&S Chalet Collection are looking for an experienced friendly and mature chef to work in one of our 2 chalets based in Morzine this Winter season. Our aim is to provide laid back chalet holidays of an exceptionally high standard

The chef will work alongside 2 chalet hosts as we hire 3 people per chalet to provide the best service to our guests but to also make sure you get plenty of time up on the mountain.

Duties that fall in line with the chef role are:

• Preparing breakfast and afternoon tea 6 days a week
• Preparing a 4 course meal 4 days a week ( We offer one full day off plus an extra evening)
• Preparing a 6 course degustation meal on the final evening to showcase your talents
• Catering for all dietary requirements eg. vegetarians/gluten free/lactose intolerant
• Preparing a separate 2 course childrens menu when required
• Shopping and managing stock levels to reduce wastage at the end of the season
• Ensuring the kitchen area is kept clean at all times
• Ensuring staff are fed on a daily basis

We have 70% repeat custom who expect the same standard of food year on year. Food and wine is our passion and we love to have creative and stunning dishes to serve to our guests.
