Security Guard - The Springs Golf Club - Wallingford

Full Time

The Springs Golf Club have a vacancy available for a Full Time Security Guard to join their team to work a variety of day, night, weekday and weekend shifts.

Our five star golf club is located in stunning Oxfordshire countryside and is home to an extensive golf course, restaurant and club. The successful candidate will work within the team to ensure the safety and security of the park buildings, hotel, staff and guests at all times. You will also be the first port of call for any out of hours enquiries, so a good level of customer service is key.

You will ensure the security of the any closed buildings on the site, checking all entries and opening are closed and secure.

This is a permanent position to work full time variable hours. These shifts will usually be 2pm – 10pm over 5 days, however these days can include a mixture of weekdays and weekends.

This role is ideal for anyone looking for security roles within the Wallingford area

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently to be responsible for the security of the park.
• Take responsibility for personnel, property, buildings and accommodation while on shift.
• Patrolling the perimeter of the park throughout the night.
• Checking the show ground caravans are secure and all items are in good repair and present.
• Security of all park buildings, including the hotel and company buildings.

What experience you will need

• Similar previous experience is an advantage.

What skills you will need

• Excellent customer service skills to ensure high standards.
• Driving licence is essential due to the use of park vehicles.
• Current SIA licence is essential
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal,, and ability to fill in comprehensive and clear shift reports.
• Positive attitude towards work and learning new skills.
