Training to be provided: L2 Diploma in Business Administration, Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT, as required.  No College attendance required. 

 

 

Reporting to the general manager, the bookings and administration apprentice will be supporting an effective and efficient on-site bookings administration function and support other administrative functions as required.

 

 

This is a full-time role over 39 hours per week. The working hours will be from Monday to Sunday with 5 days on 2 days off with 8-hour shifts and the hours being between 7:30am and 10:30pm. (10:30pm shift would not be a regular shift pattern rather for emergency reception cover only ie sickness and holiday)

 

 

On a day to day basis, the bookings and administration’s responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

 

 

  • Being pro-active and attentive, at all times, delivering high standard of customer service, when liaising with suppliers or clients.
  • Fulfilling requests for all enquiries both over the phone and online reservations.
  • Making bookings as required for community sports, onsite partners and corporate customers
  • Handle incoming calls in a professional manner, delivering the highest standard of customer service.
  • Updating invoice and accommodation sales tracker as required
  • Reception cover as required to support front of house team.
  • Raising booking forms & course information
  • Completing bookings weekly supplement 
  •  

     

    Entry Requirements: GCSEs Grades A* to E or 9 to 2 under the new grading system in Maths and English (or acceptable equivalent).

     

    You will also need to complete an on-line initial assessment, which will help us guide you to the most appropriate programme to meet your needs.
    Bisham Abbey are looking for candidates who have strong organisational and communication skills and can show a high degree of IT literacy.
     
     

    It is essential to be able to travel to Bisham Abbey on a daily basis.
