Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a dynamic HR Advisor to join our busy Corporate and MMM HR team, based at our Merlin Business Support office in Chessington, Surrey. Reporting into the HR Business Partner, this role will provide ongoing support in all people matters. Leading on employee relations cases across both Corporate and MMM.
Key Objectives include…
- Manage employee relations issues and support organisational changes taking a commercial and pragmatic approach.
- Provide generalist support to the wider team.
- Support in the delivery of HR initiatives/projects that impact the employee experience and drives engagement.
- Gain buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Use HR metrics to measure success and scope future needs to continually improve the employee experience.
We are looking for the following skills and experience…
- The role holder will have proven HR experience.
- Development and/or implementation of HR initiatives.
- Understands and is able to apply HR practise, policy and legal requirements to employee relation cases and restructures.
- Stakeholder skills - a proven ability to build relationships.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work across a number of varied projects and managing multiple requests and deadlines.
- Ability to think “solution” and recommend approach.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
