At Legoland Windsor we have two fantastic LEGO themed Hotels, 55 rides and attractions, 13 food and drinks units and 9 retail stores all focused on providing our guests with a unique action packed adventure.

Reporting to the Lead Electrical Technician the Electrical Engineer will form part of our maintenance team with the responsibility of completing a variety of planned (PPM’s) and reactive maintenance across our rides and attractions.

Job Details

To work as an operational engineer carrying out PPM & ad hoc maintenance & ride start up tasks.To respond to any breakdowns and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently and in-line with department procedures.To ensure a safe working environment/safe working practises are adopted at all times and any potential health & safety hazards are reported to the department management team, immediately for appropriate corrective action.To complete work related risk assessments.To ensure written documentation relating to pre-opening checks and maintenance works are accurate to reflect changes in procedure.To carry out fault finding and rectification on ride systems.Assists guests, on request, to enjoy their day in line with company Customer Care procedures.

Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Qualified to a City & Guild, NVQ level 2 or equivalent within an Electrical Engineering / Technician disciplineExperience of fault finding and minor programming using programmable logic controls (PLC’s)Experience of working within a heavy industrial / automated environment such as; FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics, Airport or Theme ParkKnowledge and practical experience of various motor controls including invertersAble to read and understand electrical drawings.Experience of PPM Systems of Work.
