We are currently recruiting for a Junior Buyer here at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort! 

Working as part of a small Buying and Merchandising team you will possess fantastic experience of planning and trading in a fast paced commercial environment. You will be a highly organised individual, with attention to detail and a proactive approach. You will be comfortable implementing processes and be keen to work in a really hands on analytical but product driven role.

The Junior Buyer role:

-          Raise new orders internally and externally on the system, forecasting accurately and efficiently

-          Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and the wider operational team

-          Understand the basic rules of vendor management, allocation and price negotiation

-          Review ranges at category/ supplier level quarterly with the Senior Buyer to capture lessons learned

-          Review weekly trading performance, identifying any potential issues and a course of action

-          Analyse consumer buying patterns and work to predict future trends

-          Preparation and weekly maintenance of critical path key dates, ensuring the right product is in the right place, at the right time

-          Plan and create the strategy and overall vision for the department with the Senior Buyer

This is a permanent role, averaging 37.5 hours a week and may include bank holidays.
