Job SummaryRecruitment: Co-ordinates and maintains the recruitment process to attract, recruitand retain a diverse management and non-management workforce capable of providing strong functional expertise, creativity andentrepreneurial leadership to the property.Utilizes selection and career planning processes that identify the bestcandidates for open positions in a cost effective and efficient manner to meetthe business needs of the operation.

Total Compensation: Administers and maintains a total compensationstructure for both managementand non-management associates thatbalances the needs of the business with the ability to attract and retain thebest talent and rewards great performance.

Training and Development: Supports HR officer/Manager on the property training business plan toensure all relevant support materials and equipment are ready for each trainingsession and that all room bookings and BEO's are completed

Associate Relations: Administers policies and procedures to ensure associates are treatedfairly and equitably. Supports andembeds a culture that embraces the brand service strategy and supports the present-daybusiness environment.

Human Resources Department: Creates and sustains a work environment thatembraces the brand's culture and focuses on fair and equitable treatment andassociate satisfaction to enable business results.

Technical Expertise (Learning and Applying Personal Expertise)

Thefollowing are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to thesuccessful performance of the position:

Recruitment

Coordinatesand compiles relevant recruitment information.

Maintainsthe recruitment database, including applicant response and any data input.

Ensuresthat all recruits have full reference checks and that these are followed up ifnecessary.

Fullycompliant with immigration rules and ensures immigration checks are in placefor all hires

Conductstelephone screenings, interviews and follows through with line managers toensure a seamless candidate experience

Total Compensation

Assistswith any Compensation and Benefits data compilation

Assistswith maternity and paternity requests to include meetings and necessarypaperwork and systems processing

Training and Development

Coordinatesthe administration of all training nominations, training completion andattendance, ensuring databases are fully up to date.

Responsiblefor communication and administration thereof for all annual statutory /companytrainings

Providessupport with Associate Orientation, 'In the beginning - Welcome' training

Ensuresall equipment, tools and supplies are booked and available for each training session

Completesall BEO's and checks on breaks and refreshments.

Associate Relations

Assistswith regular communication of all Associate Benefits on properties.

Assistswith the administration of any employment relations issue (for exampleEmployment Tribunal preparation).

Providesa sounding board for associates who may need to discuss personal issues andmaintains confidentiality at all times.

Assistswith the organization of any associate events.

Organisesand assists with the pre- and post-Associate Engagement Survey sessions

Preparesmonthly departmental meeting presentations and shows attendance at meetings

Presentsa positive face for the HR team and works to develop self and team profile

Assistswith reward and recognition of associates

Ensuresthat all leavers complete an exit interview and that details are complied toassist the hotel retention strategy.

Human Resources -department focus

Assistswith any process administration and the collation of data for relevant reports.

Assists,where necessary, with PeopleSoft data maintenance and tracking.

Providesfull administration support for candidate management/recruitment system (GRS) andother related people sourcing resources such as Caterer/Indeed etc. Supportwith the administration of any payroll of HR information though Oracle (orrelevant system) including data collection for Kronos reports

Needs to be extremely efficient and professionally skilled in:

Preparing documents usingWord, Excel and PowerPoint applications.

Filing and forward tracinga variety of documents, appointments etc.

Updating and distributing relevantinformation databases as required

Processing incoming mail.

Maintaining office suppliesfor the HR department.

Taking meeting minutes asrequested.

Attending investigatory meetingsand provides an administration support to HODs by taking minutes.

Budget control: raises purchase orders, logbudget transactions, process department invoices, report monthly.

Updating data on thecelebratory dates/Key Management Data/Contact list etc.

Maintaining, collating anddistributing all relevant activity reports.

Responding to variousrequests for help and information.

Communicating with propertyassociates to provide information and resolving challenges on behalf of thoseshe/he reports to.

Coordinating and handlingall related memberships and incentive enrolments and ensuring they are current.

Administration in relationto Long service teas, certificates & gifts, spirit to serve gold bars, townhall meetings, birthdays, anniversaries

Coordinating Associate ofthe month, supervisor of the month, quarterly awards, annual awards ceremony

Preparation for LabourTurnover to be provided to DHR.

Involvement in HR Metrics& Dashboards

Coordinating and conductinglocker audits, bag searches, annual handbook sign offs

Complete administration andchecks of North Lodge staff house including accommodation element entries &terminations on Oracle

Ensuring that all payrollis in line with NMW/NLW regulations including accommodation and/or any otherdeductions

Other

Performs other related tasksas assigned by management.

Ensure that all associatenotice boards are up to date and accurate and that all necessary information isdisplayed.

Complies with all localHotel SOPs.

Complieswith Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies andprocedures.

Supports the compliancewith HR Reviews for auditing purposes.
