We are recruiting for a fantastic site in Herne Bay, Kent. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing family-owned multi-site Snap Fitness franchisee.  We are opening gyms around the South East and are looking to build & develop a team of driven Assistant General Managers who are highly motivated, hardworking and organised with a longer term view of developing into the next line of Club Managers as we grow.

Salary: £11-14k + Highly Competitive Bonus (Depending on experience)

The Role

We are looking for a highly enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and creative Assistant Club Manager.

The Assistant Club Manager a key role in Snap Fitness clubs, responsible for supporting the overall day to day management of all operations. Working closely with the club manager, the position will have full accountability and authority for all operational aspects and management of staff, including sales, marketing and general administration under the supervision of the Club Manager.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Extensive sales and marketing experience with a track record on setting and delivering on both financial and operational targets
  • Outstanding customer service and people skills – ability to build and nurture relationships with the local community, customers and team members
  • Proven experience of successfully managing and leading teams
  • Strong problem solving skills and have a strong attention to detail
  • Executional interpersonal, time management and organisation skills
  • Genuine interest and passion with the fitness industry, growing trends and influencers
  • Experience of designing and teaching classes to a high level is preferred but not essential
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude and a clear focus on delivering a first class member experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in health (Level 3 REPS Certification), business or commerce or strong business acumen will be highly regarded but not essential
  • First Aid Certificate
