Meetme Sales Executive - Warrington

As our MeetMe Sales Executive you will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the constant monitoring of our established brand standards. As a result you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You should have a can do attitude. In this type of industry, teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be focused on supporting Village to achieve agreed targets by actively seeking to convert enquiries to contracting stage for single and multi-site bookings.

Summary of Key Requirements:

  • Understand and adhere to M&E Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
  • Respond to all enquiries in a timely, confident & professional manner, displaying a clear & comprehensive knowledge of the hotels, their facilities and details of other hotels in the Group, taking every opportunity to upsell & refer business at all times.
  • Record full and accurate details of bookings as per Company and hotel procedures, using direct input systems.
  • Make clients aware of the full terms of business, including the cancellation policy
  • Ensure that the booking and all relevant information is communicated to the Hotel prior to confirmation.
  • Book third party services in accordance with Company and hotel procedures.
  • Maintain strong channels of communication with the Hotel and Central sales teams.
  • Show understanding of National Agents and Accounts and preferred route to market and apply as relevant.
  • Apply appropriate negotiating techniques to address objections and drive [ not force] revenue, developing productive client and internal colleague relationships.

Essential Skills/Experience: 

  • Highly motivated self starter with a can do attitude
  • Competent in converting M&E business
  • Uses a structured approach to ensure both proactive and reactive sides of the M&E role are delivered
  • Capable of handling objections and negotiating with confidence
  • Team player.
  • Works well under pressure and likes to achieve stretching objectives
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about Village Hotels and the features and benefits of our offering
  • Team player.
  • Strong oral communicator  – literally ‘smiles down the phone’
  • Can demonstrate a real eye for detail to listen for buying signals and qualify client requirements as well as to check that all supporting documentation and communications are consistently accurate.
