Assistant Central Reservations Manager - Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, Hampshire

Assistant Central Reservations Manager - Aim of the Role

To maximise the revenue and profitability of the room sales for Chewton Glen, Cliveden and The Lygon Arms through the maintenance of high standards and product knowledge. This role is based at Chewton Glen. 

Assistant Central Reservations Manager - Responsibilities

  • To be confident in having full product knowledge of both Chewton Glen, Cliveden House & Lygon Arms in order to be able to sell our properties confidently
  • To take ownership and ensure that all brochure enquiries are responded to within 24 hours of the request.
  • To be passionate in being fully aware of the standards of performance as set out in the Mystery Guest Report for both properties and to adhere to them at all times.
  • To be confident and using your integrity, maximise room revenue by up-selling at all times.
  • To know budgets for both hotels in order to meet targets set and upselling at all times
  • To be passionate in carrying out VIP checks and allocation of rooms and final checking of correspondence prior to the arrival of guests.
  • To assist the Reservations Manager in the writing and co-ordination of the rota.
  • To be responsible for Christmas and New Year booking chart and managing of payment process
  • To be confident in understanding how to close out dates and the setting of the rate strategy in the absence of the Director of Revenue
  • To be confident in having a full knowledge of all special offers and promotions and to offer them where appropriate.
