Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a dynamic HR Advisor to join our busy Corporate and MMM HR team, based at our Merlin Business Support office in Chessington, Surrey. Reporting into the Human Resources Director, this role will scope and deliver HR initiatives which drive a consistent and engaging employee experience across both divisions; provide ongoing support to the HR Business Partners in all people matters.
Key Objectives include…
- Developing and implementing HR initiatives/projects which impact the employees experience and drives engagement.
- Gaining buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Using HR metrics to measure success and scope future needs to continually improve the employee experience.
- Supporting in managing employee relation issues and organisational changes taking a commercial and pragmatic approach.
- Providing generalist support to the wider team.
We are looking for the following skills and experience…
- The role holder will have proven HR experience.
- Development and/or implementation of HR initiatives.
- Understands and is able to apply HR practise, policy and legal requirements to employee relation cases and restructures.
- Stakeholder skills - a proven ability to build relationships.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work across a number of varied projects and managing multiple requests and deadlines.
- Ability to think “solution” and recommend approach.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
