We are currently recruiting Operations Security Supervisor to work within the Operations Security Team.  This is a physical and varied role that will require proven customer service, time management, task ownership and the ability to think on your feet.

 

The role is covered by a team over a 24 hour period and involves outdoor and office based tasks. As a team you must ensure the security and Health and safety of the site, assets, staff and guests at all times in adherence with all Castle daily and incident management policies and procedures. Leading by example, to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and interaction with staff and guests; working closely with the management team to ensure best practise both internally and externally.

 

The key objectives of the role include but are not limited to:

  •  To lock and unlock the castle site ensuring the security and health and safety of the site, assets, staff and guests at all times.
  •  Management of keys, gate codes, alarm and audit systems.
  • To carry out physical and CCTV patrols throughout the shift.
  • To carry out guest bag searches daily and staff searches as required.
  •  To offer security assistance with cash handling/movement.
  • To carry out the Security role as required for all emergency situations.
  • To act as a central point for all Security based queries.
  • To ensure that all tasks are completed as per the department standard operating procedures.
  •  To provide a security presence that acts as a visual deterrent, observe and note details of any suspicious activity
  •  To work with the department management team and build excellent internal and external customer relations.
  •   Be the voice of the business and ensure both department standards and Warwick Castle and Merlin Entertainments brand values are upheld at all times.
  •  Support on-going staff development
  •  Regular 1 2 1 meetings with team members

  

Skills required

  • People management experience
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven experience in a security role
  • SIA door supervisor licence desirable  

 

This is a permanent position with a 12 hour shift pattern, including weekends, nights and bank holidays. Flexibility is therefore essential.
