Part-time Goods Receiver

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part-time Goods Receiver to join our team at Bvlgari Hotel London.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible to receive all deliveries with particular emphasis on food items, to ensure correct quantity, weights etc. of all goods, to monitor, record and control food delivery temperatures, to regulate food quality in conjunction with Exec chefs, to assist with storage of food and other items, to record and account for all received goods. On a daily basis you will ensure to comply with all hotel/departmental policies and procedures, manage the hotel inventory system (Fourth) and manual procedures, Inspect and verify goods delivered for quality, quantity, weight, trim, etc., match invoice or delivery note to purchase order, request or market list and not accept unauthorized merchandise. You will participate and assist with the month-end inventory process.

The ideal candidate has proven experience of at least one year in a hotel store or receiving operation. This position requires a working technical knowledge of understanding and the ability to compute mathematical calculations.

To be successful in your application you will already have experience from within a luxury service environment along with an excellent understanding of the 5-star hospitality industry. You will be an immaculately presented individual who possesses informal yet impeccable customer service skills with your ability to engage with our guests being one of your greatest assets.
