We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Commis Chef to join our beautiful pub restaurant The Highdown in Goring by Sea, which opened earlier this year.

As Commis Chef de Partie you'll be an essential part of the kitchen team. That means you'll be getting involved with the mise en place as well as cooking and working across sections. The seaonal fresh food menu changes every 6-weeks and we make almost everything from scratch so this is a kitchen for a Commis Chef who really wants to learn and work with fresh ingredients.

We're part of Brunning & Price, which means we have all the independence to run our pub and kitchen how we want, but with the support and stability of a rapidly growing big group backing us up whenever we need it.

About you:

• Previous experience in a kitchen 
• Keen to learn
• Happy preparing fresh food dishes from scratch
• High standards of food hygiene
