Exciting opportunity for an Apprentice to join an

Established and experienced team of Environmental Services Operatives to deliver an efficient

gardening and clearance service to our customers across our stock within the Stockport area.

As the Environmental Services Apprentice, you will work alongside other members of the team to

Ensure that the grounds of our scheme delivering garden maintenance services to ensure the

Communal areas of our schemes are maintained to the highest standard.

This is a physically demanding role with the majority of time being outside; therefore all applicants

Must be willing to work outdoors.

What will you get from MSV? A 2 year fixed term contract Support to complete a vocational qualification in Horticulture (level 2 or 3 – depending on prior experience)

Attributes & Requirements: A desire to build a career in Horticulture / Environmental Services

An enthusiastic, motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude A team player with the willingness to learn new skills Good communication skills Some experience or exposure of horticulture, garden or environmental service desirable but not essential. Apprentices must show commitment to the following: To achieve full apprenticeship framework (inc. Functional Skills, NVQ and Technical Certificate) within the specified time frame. Attend the apprenticeship training and induction events within MSV attend all of the training sessions for the programme whenever necessary Undertake any other required development work as part of the apprenticeship programme as

The successful applicant :

Good problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a high-pressured environment excellent communicator

Good literacy and numeracy skills

Have GCSE at C or above in Math’s and English or equivalent
