First Aid Coordinator
Permanent Contract – Full time, 40 hours per week

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a First Aid Coordinator to join our Guest Experience Team on a permanent basis. The role will be to deliver First Aid and coordinate the Chester Zoo First Aid team ensuring that the First Aid provision for employees, guests and contractors is available. The role will be responsible for ensuring that the team are trained, competent and adequately resourced to a world-class benchmark.

The ideal candidates for this First Aid Coordinator role will have:

• Experience in coordinating or supervising a team in a guest-focused environment preferably a large leisure or visitor attraction or similar multisite operation.
• First Response Emergency Care Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) plus a good understanding of the required skills and training required to deliver first aid in an attraction environment
• Exceptional guest service skills within a guest focused environment
• Knowledge of budgets, forecasting, setting targets and effective performance monitoring systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with people at all levels
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel, Word and other Microsoft products
• A good knowledge of Health and Safety in relation to First Aid

Hours of work are 40 per week, worked 5 days out of 7, including weekends and Bank Holidays as rostered.

The salary for this First Aid Coordinator position is £18,936.47 per annum and in addition we offer a range of amazing benefits which can be found on the Chester Zoo careers page.
