Family Support Workers - Westfield & South Oxhey Family Centre, Watford

Full Time/Part Time (all year round)

Circa £21,000 pro rata (Depending on age and experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Support Worker at Westfield & South Oxhey Family Centres working with an enthusiastic and friendly team.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Level 3-4 in a recognised professional qualification in health, education, childcare, social care or equivalent.
• Experience of working with families (2+ years) including experience of home visiting and case load management.
• Knowledge of the importance of safeguarding children
• Knowledge and experience of facilitating parenting programmes e.g. Parenting Puzzle, Families Feeling Safe

The role will involve:

• Working with hard to reach families
• Delivering 1:1 programmes of work in order to achieve the best outcomes for a family.
• Computer literacy and keeping accurate records
• Partnership working

Car driver essential.
