With almost 3m customer visits every year, the recent introduction of our fantastic Family Attraction products (yeahdaysout.co.uk ) and with a new £16m leisure centre being developed, it's an exciting time to be joining KAL.

KAL's Aquatic and Activity product is a vital part of the organisation's business delivery. This section of the business will drive the aquatics and activity products, both in terms of financial contribution and product delivery, to ensure a high quality, profitable product continues to be developed and delivered.

Within the Aquatic and Activity Team there is a full career path from Apprentice through to senior roles within the structure and the Assistant Aquatic & Activity Manager (AAAM) is a key position within the structure. The position plays a key role in ensuring that KAL is presented with opportunities and developments through products, programming and partnerships along with ensuring quality delivery of all products.

The AAAM will manage the delivery workforce to ensure that all products are delivered to the highest quality standards. With Aquatics being the core product for KAL the role will require strong knowledge and qualifications to support the product. The AAAM will remotely manage the Aquatics and Activity teams and ensure that workforce development is continual to provide the succession planning required for KAL's future success in the business area.

The AAAM will:

  • Manage, lead and support remote teams across KAL ensuing support and challenge is provided as appropriate
  • Support and drive the development of robust business plans and partnerships to enable KAL to maximise on commercial and operational utilisation
  • Enhance opportunities for all participants, ensuring high quality standards, in line with the National Governing Bodies (NGB) Frameworks
  • Engage with partners to maximise the opportunity for growth and development within the programmes
  • Work across each internal KAL department to develop and create systems, marketing and sales opportunities
