Job Details

GLL, the UK's largest provider of public leisure and cultural services, is looking for an experienced CRM Executive, based at our head office in Woolwich, South East London. As part of our digital transformation, the CRM Executive will help us to build and maintain great relationships with our customers, whether they're looking for information or engaging with us, all with the goal of increasing digital transactions, usage of our services and ultimately, a healthier, more active community. As a not-for-profit, we are first and foremost commercially-minded so that we can continue to provide award-winning facilities and much-needed leisure and cultural services to local communities around the UK. Our surplus is reinvested back into our facilities, community projects and our people.

This newly-created role combines creativity with strategic thinking, giving you the chance to support, influence and strengthen our core CRM strategies and wider digital marketing initiatives, as well as developing and enhancing customer insight to help future-proof the business. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a ground-breaking digital transformation project as we launch new digital initiatives. You'll be an essential part of the team to help drive lead generation, strengthen customer retention, increase brand awareness and enhance the overall customer experience with engaging and relevant customer communications.

Able to multi-task, you'll have experience working across CRM, e-commerce, analytics and digital marketing platforms preferably in both B2B and B2C business models. With an agile working style, you'll be able to work across customer-centric national, localised and BAU initiatives concurrently, across an extensive portfolio of customer segments, systems, products and services. A confident CRM marketer, you'll have solid experience of setting up and managing campaigns within an industry standard ESP or CRM platform, as well as excellent project management, database segmentation, strategy and planning skills. Naturally, you'll be a great copywriter and analytically-minded coupled with great problem-solving skills and the ability review, assess and make impactful recommendations to the wider business quickly and effectively.

In return, we offer a range of benefits that you'd expect from the UK's largest leisure provider:

  • Pension schemes
  • Ride to work scheme
  • Discounted membership at our leisure centres
  • The opportunity to join the GLL Society and have a say in how we're run plus associated social events
  • Career pathways
  • Ongoing training and development to help you to be the best

If you want the opportunity to influence the apprenticeship journey and develop yourself as the College programme grows, apply now

All pay rates are subject to skills, experience, qualifications and location.

To be shortlisted for the role, internal applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment to GLL by becoming a Society member where eligible.
