We are looking for a talented individual join our Ecommerce department. As a team, we ensure that we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time. We work side by side with our Digital Merchandising team, managing optimum stock levels to ensure we maximise availability and sales. The individual will gain many skills that include a mixture of inventory planning, data analysis and good organisation, which opens a good opportunity for someone wanting to grow their career within the Supply and Distribution sector.

The primary purpose of the role is to assist our Merchandise planner in optimising stock levels within E-Commerce through detailed analysis of forecasts, sales and trends, to ensure availability of products meet consumer demand.

Job Role

The successful individual will work with colleagues from E-Commerce, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Distribution to:

  • Support Merchandise Planner to manage stock intake plans to deliver sales.

  • Review and analyse historical sales trends, customer and marketing insights as well as promotional data.

  • Support Merchandise Planner with management of all aspects of Merchandise Planning KPI’s.

  • To work closely with the DC to ensure all administrative processes are followed correctly

  • Gain skills to identify slow movers, taking action to improve performance and sell through stock.

  • Support the Merchandise Planner with production of availability reports.

  • On a weekly basis, review where we are with availability and look at ways of improvement.

  • Strong numerical and organisation skills.
  • Excellent administration skills combined with the ability and inquisitive mind to problem solve.

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Strong PC skills, including excellent Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and multi-task.
  • Thrive working as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce is an advantage.
