Assistant General Manager - Gaucho London

Gaucho are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager to join one of our Gaucho London teams! The successful candidate will be an experienced Assistant General Manager, being fully accountable for guest experience, finance, sales growth, legal compliance and team development, both front of house and back of house. The Assistant General Managers take charge of the controllable of the P&L as delegated and deliver the budget.

Key Responsibilities
• Work with the General Manager to execute the plan in place to beat the budget, driving top line sales
• Oversee team objectives and development plans, and executing the succession plan in place
• Drives the Gaucho culture, inspires, guides and educates juniors
• Ensures a fully trained team regarding compliance and is personally fully trained, achieving above 95% on shield and food audits
• Supporting the General Manager with bespoke local initiatives and local advertising
• Enforcing brand standards in regards to revinate and mystery diner

Requirements
• Excellent communicator and inspirational leader
• Proven record of managing finance and P&L
• An in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry
• WSET Level 2 desirable
