Chef - Wainwrights Inn – Lake District – Live in available

The Langdale Estate is set in 35 acres of woodland & waterways in the heart of the Lake District.  The Estate comprises a 52 bedroom hotel, 16 bedroom boutique hotel, 100 timeshare units, spa, Stove Restaurant & Bar and Wainwrights Inn.

We are looking for a Chef to join us in our busy traditional Lakeland pub. Working as part of a small committed team, we are looking for somebody who preferably has experience in a pub environment and the capacity to work under pressure.  

This role would suit somebody who can operate in a busy kitchen dealing with pressure in a calm and professional manner.  Excellent organisation and communication are essential in this role as well as the ability to work as part of a team. You may be a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie but you will be used delivering high volumes with excellent consistency.  Wainwrights is home to the Langdale Estates Smokehouse, where meats, fish and cheese are hot and cold smoked and end up on the menu and specials board.
