Receptionist - Fitness Space Guildford

Reports to: Member Relations Manager

Salary/ Hourly Rate: £8.50 per hour

Hours: Part Time

Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Front of House team who will deliver a consistent and memorable experience for our members.

You will be the first point of contact for all member related queries and service led duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all members are experiencing a luxury boutique gym experience
• Handle Member queries and complaints effectively
• Making and serving fresh smoothies and other front of house products
• Analyse member trends and work with internal stakeholders to find solutions
• Member communication to gain referrals and increase appointment levels
• Member research to fully understand our clientele and how we can enhance their experience
• Assist and promote any member events and promotions
• Update member board with key information
• Ensure front of house and member changing facilities are clean and inviting for our members

General:

• Within the overall scope of the position, carry out any duties outside of the normal daily/weekly/ routine to assist the business when necessary.
• To adhere to all health & Safety, fire safety and hygiene procedures in line with government regulation and Fitness Space Guildford Company policy.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous people relations experience
• Complaint handling
• Diary Management
• Possess the ability to work under pressure
• Computer literate
• Presents great organisation skills and self-motivation
• High attention to detail
• The ability to read member cues
• Precise communication skills

Person Specification:

• Right to work in the UK
• Fluent in English reading and writing.

Fitness industry experience is not a necessity, however, a general interest in health and fitness will be preferred.
